"An Ode to Home" is a love letter to my childhood home. The zine is comprised of physical spaces in my home that hold a core memory. Printed at the @risolab.
CONCEPT
Nostalgia is a sentimentality for the past, typically for a period or place with happy personal associations. I wanted to create a memoir of my childhood home. Each page admires a physical space associated with a happy childhood memory. The front and back cover are illustrated to look like the exterior of my childhood home. The illustrations capture the simplicity of childhood memories.
COLOR STORY
Throughout the zine, the color language is carefully curated to reflect the daylight cycle.
